Coffee Table Books are similar to books you'd buy from a bookstore, they are hardback and the pages are slightly flexible. However, unlike normal books, they are printed on thick photographic paper and the pages can be laid flat for uninterrupted images that can span both pages.

Of the three general styles of album that you can buy, cofee-table books are the least expensive and the last hard wearing. However, as they have a normal hardback cover and thin pages, they are much lighter than the other wedding album options. This makes them the most accessible kind of wedding album you can buy as they are easily picked up and opened and are much more likely to be left around on a coffee table for anyone to look at. Coffee-table albums are more likely to last well for years rather than decades but that's partly to do with the fact they are more likely to be well thumbed.
